But the basic technique is same as that used in television and films that is to create an illusion of movement. However, the fruits of computer animation are not limited to websites or films only, it has created a revolution in the game industry by creating 2-D and 3-D video games. Besides, the designing and modeling of various products and industrial machinery are done with the help of 3-d animations. Even the medical and engineering sectors are also reaping the boon of computer animation successfully in that field. By simplifying and visualizing complex internal processes,3-d animation has proved itself highly useful for the marketing and advertising campaigns.
